May 16th was World Whisky Day, and we at the Globe enjoyed celebrating it. Very much so. But we felt whiskey deserved more time. So we considered that day the start of World of Whiskey Week.

True to the Globe in our name, we covered some ground, with news from Scotland and Ireland of course, and Canada, and much further afield as well. There were cocktails, and the latest from Indiana, Michigan, and Nevada. We headed to Japan and—seriously—to Mexico.

And, of course, to Kentucky. 

We’d touched on a lot of this already, including love letters to Hakushu, Buffalo Trace, and Kilbeggan, and a deep dive on single malts.
